Ive been going here for years and they are the absolute best! Yes they are pricey, but I only bring my designer pieces here (totally worth it) and they do a wonderful job. Ill always be a customer!
Worst service I've ever received at a dry cleaners. They took a jacket for a simple cleaning over a week ago. Today I stopped by and they couldn't find it. Then they said they sent it to another plant. I waited 20 minutes and they couldn't locate it. I called later in the afternoon; they still couldn't locate it. I waited on hold 10 minutes and was told they'll call me back later in the afternoon when they found my jacket. Ugh! What service! Still no jacket!
Outstanding quality for dry cleaning and laundry. They normally take a week to complete the cleaning, so it is not fast but they do things right. They have not changed their prices in several years but it is not the cheapest place.
Overpriced.
If you want the best quality cleaning, and aren't too concerned about price, this is one of the best dry cleaners in the country, with at least one UK shirtmaker recommending that all their US customers ship garments here. They take the quality of their work very seriously, and have no problems doing difficult jobs with fragile and vintage clothes; we've had starched 1930s evening shirts with decades of soiling and a beaded silk capes with significant water damage come back looking like almost like new. Their skill with cleaning and pressing suits is arguably better than my tailors. Their prices also tend to include some repair work and extra cleaning if necessary, tooin the case of the 1930s shirts they ended up soaking them for weeks, and repairing several damaged parts, all without an extra charge. Buttons often come back more secure, rather than being lost or damaged, and I have a suspicion that they've actually done a great job matching and replacing missing buttons on my coats before without even pointing out the work. That said, they are not the best choice of dry cleaner for everyone, and it's important to realize this. Their prices can easily be double or triple other cleaners. And their focus is on quality, not speed or necessarily convenience: if getting the best results is going to take a few months, they'll take a few months, and their standard is to take at least a week. This tends to get them bad reviews, especially from brides who take them wedding gowns after a wedding expecting to get them back the same month. If you *need* a garment at a certain time, they can work with you, but you need to talk to them about this; their default seems to be to do the best work, not the fastest.
