I was disappointed after taking my gunea pig there for emergency, that no one called to check on him the next day. Even if they believed, which I do believe , they thought he more than likely he would not survive, a simple call would be customer service and thoughtful at best, given there are 2 people at the front desk and 4 veternarian interns the day we were there and of course the veternarian, would be a great teaching tool, to assign patients to interns to call get an update to report to the doctor to teach the next generation of interns customer service and quality services.
With my bunny, they were great. With my guinea pig, they were HORRIBLE. It seems theyre trained in every type of exotic pet EXCEPT guinea pig. RIP to my lovely Cavy. Thanks for NOTHING. Hundreds of dollars just to have my guinea pig die a few hours after leaving there when SHE WAS FINE BEFORE WE WENT TO HER APPOINTMENT.
PLEASE READ:If you have a guinea pig,DO NOT GO. They are super great,respectful and helpful when your pet is healthy. However I went when my baby was sick and they very subtly accused me of neglect and suggested I killed my other guinea pig by questioning about her passing. I understand that I look very young but I felt very insulted and as if I was treated like an abusive idiot. Also within hours of going there,my guinea pig passed away from what seems like misdiagnoses. I don't know if perhaps they are better with birds or rabbits but it seems they do not know how to handle guinea pigs AT ALL.
Brought my guinea pig here and 2 days later i held him as he died a miserable gasping death. I have to live with that the rest of my life. Dont bring your animals here.
I tooked my Grey african parrot & my 8 year old chicken for a check up the vet. The assistants were nice and professional.
