High tech rooms and beautiful bar with daily pianist in the evening. A little gem in Pasadena indeed! The reason for a 4 rather than a 5 Star is their small room size. I was told that all their rooms are small. I like to practice yoga stretching each morning but thats out of the question in this hotel.
First time staying here. Location is great as my business appointments were right next door. Lobby and bar are lovely, breakfast was convenient and delicious. Front desk staff and the shuttle driver were terrific, as were the lobby cookies! My room, although really small, was comfortable and well decorated. If you are looking for complete bathroom privacy be mindful of which room you book (frosted glass walls, open concept). I'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel location was in a great area; staff was very courteous and affable. Very nice piano bar. Room was somewhat "tight", but clean and welcoming. Two compliants- No pool and valet parking ONLY. Having no pool was acceptable, but VP at $25 a day was steep and was just as much as the car rental! Wish this was advertised more clearly, but of course it's not. Expected a little more considering the cost of room. Great place to stay for (reimbursed) business trips rather than vacations.
Hip, new remodel. Rooms are small, and I was not a fan of the pillows. Bathrooms are great. Service was high quality. I wish there was a little more space in the lobby for lounging, but the restaurant and bar lounge take most of the space. Overall we liked it, but get some better pillows, please.
What a great hotel! We stayed at a suite here loved the extra details that many hotels don't have: the bidet, make up remover wipes, bath salts (spa bath tub was relaxing) and the electronic room board where you can do an Express checkout, see your bill, see menus, play music, even had access to Australian radio stations we listened to when we lived there, etc! Love the modern design of the building and rooms and location was good. Staff was also lovely.Would have given higher rating if it had a nice pool, but still a great hotel especially for the discounted price we got it for and I'd stay here again.
