Food was very good, I am glad we stopped in for lunch. Clean place, friendly service, and pretty fast too. Worth a stop if you're in the area!
Hands down the best in a 10 mile radius, if not farther. Really authentic and generous. You get the whole bag here for pita bread. You get tabule, hummas, rice pilaf, and bread. Affordable.
First time at the Sahara Restaurant which was highly recommended by a friend. The very first thing I noticed was how clean everything is including, the restrooms (good sign). You order your food at the counter and you can see what's going on with the preparation of your food. I ordered the beef Lulu Kabob combination and my friend ordered the Lamb Kabob, the quality of the beef was outstanding, little to no fat in the meat and the lamb was flavorful. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch plate and I would definitely return to try some of the other dishes.
The staff here is very friendly and the food is absolutely superb. Very homey atmosphere. The meats and vegetables are perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Even the starters - soups, salads, cheese, olives - are delectable. I can't get enough of this place.
One of the best kebabs around Socal. Highly recommended! Can be slightly pricey but the meats are filling and flavorful. It's a good as you'll get around here. Just wish they also did a chicken or pure lamb shawarma.
