Great breakfast. Had the San Paqual omelette and it did not disappoint. I especially loved their breakfast potatoes, served homestyle with peppers and onions.
The restaurant looks like a cottage home, and having brunch with an overhead fan and wooden floors in 2018 definitely brings on the brunch ambiance. It seems the crunchy French toast is the item of choice for brunch, but I wasnt much of a fan. It felt like they breaded the French toast in corn flakes, and generally bland without any condiments like syrup or fruits. The candied pecans were probably the best supporting flavor. The eggs benedict was very tasty. The special potatoes were diced potatoes mixed with bell peppers and onions. Hash browns were not an option. I should have ordered an additional side because the base plating was not filling.Overall the meal was lackluster. Nothing was strikingly good or bad, just very average for a brunch spot.
Great little place. A converted Craftsman House with really good food. A little busy at brunch but well worth it. I was surprised at the specials and expected them to cost much more.
Good location, friendly (but way busy) staff, but don't order burgers there or the quality won't justify the prices. We arrived in the middle on lunch and got in after a not-unreasonable amount of time. My gal and I both ordered burgers, and she asked for hers to be well-done. (it wasn't)The burgers were... well, the patty was thin, the cheese only half melted, and there was no char or any of the other hallmarks of a good burger. The burger's toppings were good, though, I've gotta give them full points there.
We went here for lunch. Apparently, the breakfast crowd is preferred. While the server was professional, the rest of the staff began spraying cleaner on nearby tables, playing music in the kitchen (not for atmosphere) and stacking chairs. The smell of cleaner is not compatible with lunch, and the atmosphere of rushing is not conducive to relaxation. My husband's sandwich was tasty. My salad was way over priced, considering it was mostly iceberg lettuce. We will not return.
